My grandfather went to law school at night while working at an insurance agency; during the day. He did not have any connection to Booneville, Mississippi. My grandmother and I were from Laurel, Ellisville, and South Mississippi. My grandfather joked he ran out of gas on his way to Corinth because he did not have any connection to Booneville. After graduating from law school, he came to Booneville and opened up his private practice in 1964, and we have been here ever since. They had three children, my mother, Cindy, and her brothers Joey and Shane. All of whom were lawyers. I practice here with my dad Duncan Lott. I grew up around this and probably die doing this.
